Soft plastic baits are a good choice for bass fishing and are often very effective. Soft plastics include craws, creatures, stick baits, worms, and shad style baits.
With a few exceptions, an offset or a straight shank hook is usually used to rig soft plastics depending on the size of the bait. The hooks are made weedless by using the plastic in the bait to hide the point of the hook.
Often reffered to as "sinkers" by many people, these lead or tungsten bullet-shaped weights are used to get your bait down to the bottom quicker. They come in all different sizes and shapes to meet your style of fishing.
